Objective To explore the new type of cesarean section caused by pelvic adhesions, with a view to improving surgical procedures to reduce the incidence of complications. Methods From January 2004 to January 2008, 60 cases of modified cesarean section were used as observation group and 50 cases of new cesarean section as control group. Pelvic adhesions were observed in two groups. Results The pelvic adhesions in the observation group and the control group had a significant difference (P <0.01). The incidence of pelvic adhesions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group. Conclusion Improved cesarean section can effectively prevent or reduce the incidence of cesarean section pelvic adhesions.
