本文从大学语文课的角度，论证了中国优秀的传统文化对培养当代改革型人才的重大作用。在理工科院校，大学语文是一门基础性和实用性高度统一的必修课程。它首先是在更高层次上培养及提高大学生的阅读表达等六大能力；同时，大学语文课中的智育和德育、美育象水乳一样交融在一起，德育、美育渗透在智育之中。只有正确认识该课程的性质与作用，才能充分发挥它在培养当代改革型人才方面的重要作用。
This article demonstrates the great role of Chinese excellent traditional culture in training contemporary reform talents from the perspective of college Chinese teaching. In science and engineering colleges, college Chinese is a compulsory course with a high degree of basic and practical unity. First, it is to cultivate and improve the reading ability of college students at a higher level. At the same time, intellectual and moral education, aesthetic education in university Chinese class are blended together, and moral education and aesthetic education infiltrate intellectual education. Only by correctly understanding the nature and role of this course can we give full play to its important role in cultivating contemporary reform talents.
