依来铬紫B在六次甲基四胺-盐酸(pH 6.4)底液中还原,产生良好的还原波,E_a=-0.69V(vs.Hg).加入Ni~(2+)后,此波高降低,并在稍负的电位处出现一个尖峰形的新波E_b=-0.89V(vs.Hg).其峰电流与镍的浓度在2×10~(-8)—2×10~(oM)范围内成正比。此波可用于测定镍。实验表明,该波属于络合吸附波。
