本文运用女性主义理论,分析了亨利·詹姆斯中期三部曲《波士顿人》、《卡萨马西玛王妃》和《悲剧缪斯》中的三个女性人物,探究了詹姆斯的女性意识及其创作思想。在这三部作品中,詹姆斯分别塑造了下面三个人物:缺乏女性意识、人云亦云的天才女演讲人维蕊娜·塔兰特,积极支持并要求投身革命运动的卡萨马西玛王妃和美丽坚强、敢于蔑视男权社会的米丽雅姆·露丝,表现了女性从沉默到觉醒再到抗争的过程,表达了詹姆斯对女性社会地位低下的同情以及对在社会变革中女性所承担社会角色的担忧。
This thesis uses the theory of feminism to analyze the three feminine figures of Henry James’s mid-trilogy “Boston”, “Princess Casamassima” and “Tragedy Muse”, explores James’s feminine consciousness and his creation thought. In these three works, James has respectively shaped the following three characters: the lack of feminist awareness of the genius of the female speaker Viva Turrard, actively support and request to join the revolutionary movement Princess Casamassima and the beautiful Miriam Ruth, strong and daring to despise the patriarchal society, shows the process of women from silence to awakening to protest, expresses James’s sympathy for the low social status of women and her role in the social role of women in social change Worries.
