近几年来,养殖对虾发生了严重流行性虾病,经对病虾肝胰腺、胃、肠、鳃等部位进行超薄切片电镜观察和分离提纯,发现有大量杆病毒和细菌感染。超薄切片显:病毒粒子短杆状、两端钝圆、具羹膜、大小约250—310mm×90—110mm,提纯的核衣壳大小约300—320mm×70mm。将粗提纯的病毒和细菌口饲感染健康的日本对虾和长毛对虾,可同时引起对虾发病死亡,病毒感染8天后引起的死亡率分别是50%和41.7%,病毒与细菌共感染8天后的死亡率比前者高。这些结果说明:所分离的杆状病毒是日本对虾和长毛对虾的共同病原,在它们之间具有流行性,而细菌与这种病毒对虾体的共同侵染,造成更高死亡率。
