炒作是一种非常规的新型传播模式，是在最短的时间内，以最佳的创意和最低的成本，而最终实现最大化的传播效应。也就是为了提高知名度而夸大宣传。然而现在网络上充斥着很多恶俗的炒作，为了出名不择手段、故弄玄虚一些子虚乌有的东西来吸引大众的目光。只要那些炒作没有侵犯到我们自身的利益，那么就权当娱乐新闻来看吧。

Have you heard about that new singer?
电视整个月都在对他大肆宣传。
The TV has been 1)hyping him up all month.
