Objective To analyze and analyze the results of micronucleus test of peripheral blood lymphocytes in radiation workers in our city to provide basis for prevention work. Methods Peripheral blood lymphocyte micronucleus samples were prepared by micro-whole blood routine culture method. The micronucleus abnormalities of radiation workers in different years, different genders and different radiation working ages were compared. Results Compared with 2010, the micronucleus anomalies rate of radioactive workers in our city decreased generally in 2012, while that of female radiologists was slightly higher than that of men. The abnormal rate of micronuclei was positively correlated with length of service. Conclusions Long-term low-dose radiation can cause micronuclei of peripheral blood lymphocytes to increase, and the female is slightly higher than male. The abnormal rate of micronuclei has a positive correlation with the length of radioactive service.
