台湾青少年公民教育经历了日据统治时期、威权统治时期、民主改革时期三个阶段。现今台湾青少年公民教育在课程目标、教学理念、教材内容、教学方法等方面,形成了比较明显的特点:重视传承与弘扬中华民族的传统美德;坚持以学生为本拓展学生参与社会活动的能力;全方位多维度多形式的教学活动和教学方式;教材内容编写上层次分明、由浅入深、循序渐进;注重显性课程和隐性课程的互补作用;具有本土化特色的公民教育教学内容。
Taiwan’s civic education for adolescents has experienced three phases of the Japanese occupation, the reign of authoritarianism and the democratic reform. At present, citizenship education for young people in Taiwan has formed the more obvious features in terms of curriculum objectives, teaching philosophy, contents of teaching materials, teaching methods, etc., attaching importance to inheriting and promoting the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation, upholding students’ ability to participate in social activities, All-dimensional multi-dimensional and multi-form teaching activities and teaching methods; content of teaching materials written in a clear, shallow, step by step; pay attention to the complementarity of explicit and implicit courses; civic education with local characteristics of teaching content.
