建国十年来,中学数学教学上的成就,也正如其它各条战綫上一样,成绩是巨大的。学生的数学知识质量,已经有了显著的提高。单就历届入学考试的成绩来看,试题的质量逐年在提高,但学生取得及格以上成绩的此重,却逐年在增加。这和解放前,每次入学考试的试卷中,零分充斥,及格者廖廖的现象,已不可同日而语。十年来,在中学数学教学上取得巨大的成就,原因很多。在党的领导下,广大教师们:通过思想改造,端正了教育观点;通过教育方针,教学大纲的学习,明确了中学数学教学的目的任务;通过苏联先进教学经验的学习,改进了教学内容和教学方法是主要的关键。解放前的中学数学教学基本上是教给学生一些零碎的定理公式与解题方法,其目的要求究竟是什么恐怕很少人能做出明确的答案,因而学生所掌握的知识是不完整不明确不牢固的。今天我们就逐步明确了中
