罗文同志是1931年参加革命工作的老同志,建国后长期在上海从事档案工作,具有较高的档案工作的理论素养。他常和我讲“要干一行爱一行,就得认真地学习,要钻进去。”粉碎“四人帮”后,当时因为档案局、馆工作的需要,陆续调进了一批较年轻的干部,其中有大学毕业生、军队转业干部,都对档案工作不熟悉,是门外汉。为了使这些同志很快熟悉业务,罗文同志首先考虑的是对这些干部的培养教育,把原在档案局工作的部分老同志调了回来,罗文同志亲自和他们研究备课,给新来的同志和过去没有经过档案专业学习的同志先后上了《文书学》、《档案管理学》等课程,罗文同志虽年事已高,工作很忙,还亲自向同志们讲了《国际档案史》一课,同志们听了都很受感动。我也是“半路出家”,1981年下半年国家档案局开办全国省以上档案局、馆领导干部进修班,时间四个月,当时工作很忙,市档案局才恢复不久,拨乱反正的任务很重,罗文同志还是下决心叫我和徐尚炯同志去参加这个进修班学习。 Comrade Luo Wen was an old comrade who took part in the revolutionary work in 1931.
