安徽卫视于1997年10月6日上星播出,在经历了多次较大规模的改版和节目调整后,确立了以电视剧播出为主的频道定位,成为省级卫视中电视剧播出量较大的卫星频道,特别是新剧首次播出量位于全国卫星频道前列。而且,安徽卫视全国覆盖率超过70%,全国收视份额达3%。从安徽卫视2006年节目一周安排来看,一天内的电视剧播放时间已达21小时,占全天总播放时间的87.5%。一周内的电视剧播放集数达137集之多。一、从传播学角度解读首先,电视剧的播出满足了观众的需要。传播学的“使用与满足”理论认为,媒介接受的五大类需要包括认知的、情感的、个人的、整合的和舒解压力的需要。此外,电视剧作为一种大众艺术,具有系统的认知功能、教育功能、娱乐功能、审美功能。而电视作为当前第一媒介,受众接触几率最高,再加上电视视听双通道的特点,受众选择观看电视剧的或然性很高。有调查资料显示,电视剧在各类
