Objective To investigate the changes and clinical significance of serum C-reactive protein (CRP), prealbumin (PA) and white blood cell count (WBC) in patients with acute pancreatitis (AP) Methods The levels of CRP, PA and WBC in 0, 1, 4 and 7 days in 40 patients with mild pancreatitis (MAP), 37 with moderate pancreatitis (MSAP) and 10 with severe pancreatitis (SAP) The results of comparative analysis. Results The levels of CRP, GLU and WBC were all increased in patients with AP, and the differences of CRP and MAP in MSAP and SAP groups were statistically significant. The levels of PA in MSAP and SAP groups were significantly decreased. Conclusions The dynamic monitoring of AP in patients with serum C-reactive protein, prealbumin, white blood cell count for the evaluation of the severity of acute pancreatitis and prognosis of great significance.
