In “Dream of Red Mansions”, the writer’s narration presents a kind of breaking phenomenon from time to time. The rupture is either caused by the person himself or he is interrupted by others, revealing the complexity of depicting the person and the intricacy of the narrative. In the past, combing and analyzing the phenomenon of fracture, the scholars pay more attention to the fracture itself from the subtle artistic effect, and seldom analyze the three-dimensional character world ruptured by fracture and coherence and fracture on a holistic perspective. The basic meaning of the narrative fracture is not only the pursuit of subtle artistic effects, or to leave space for imagination, but also from the dialectical expression of the author after a profound understanding of the characters and the complexity of life.
