The level of soluble interleukin 2 receptor (sIL-2R) in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) of 46 patients with malignant lymphoma (ML) was dynamically monitored by double antibody sandwich ELISA. sIL-2R levels in cerebrospinal fluid of ML patients were significantly higher than those in normal controls (P<0.001), and sIL-2R in 6 patients with central nervous system (CNS) infiltration was significantly different from those without CNS infiltration (P). <0.01); sIL-2R was significantly lower after treatment with CR or PR (P<0.05), P>0.05 compared with normal controls, sIL-2R levels in cerebrospinal fluid, and sIL-2R levels in serum. No significant correlation. It is believed that the dynamic monitoring of sIL-2R levels in cerebrospinal fluid in patients with ML is helpful in assessing the severity of disease, the presence or absence of CNS infiltration, and efficacy assessment.
