Van Gogh is a subjective experiential artist. Although suffering from schizophrenia, schizophrenia is only a stimulus for strengthening his subjective experience and thus forcing his art to create gifts, rather than the fundamental factor that determines his artistic creation. He is making self-judgment at all times, even during his illness, and such self-judgment is very harsh and realistic. It is true that Van Gogh’s style of writing has undergone some changes during the illness, but not so much as the one-to-one correspondence between his chronology and its disease development Changes do not appear as a uniform and smooth curve. Van Gogh’s own disease is dominated by the independent control of the attitude of this independent control of the disease so that he was in the process of fighting schizophrenia into experiencing the abyss of life as an opportunity.
