本文通过对罗马尼亚渠道从开通到关闭的历史过程进行梳理,分析罗马尼亚渠道最终关闭的原因。罗马尼亚的特殊外交立场使其成为中美解冻初期的主要沟通渠道之一,而其与苏联的地缘关系也成为渠道关闭的因素;20世纪70年左右周边环境的变化改变了中国的外交政策,中国谋求打“美国牌”以制衡苏联。但由于对苏联-东欧阵营国家的不信任和担心苏联对罗马尼亚的渗透,中国也选择在中美解冻的关键阶段关闭了罗马尼亚渠道;罗马尼亚渠道的几次表现客观上不如巴基斯坦渠道,以及可能觉察到罗马尼亚在传递信息的同时,更为关注自身的国家经济利益,尼克松政府最终也放弃了继续使用罗马尼亚渠道。
This article examines the reasons for the eventual closure of Romanian channels by reviewing the historical process from opening to closing the Romanian channels.
