陈梦家新诗理论的核心是:“诗是美的文学。”为此,他深入诗歌本体,精心构建起一座由真挚美、格律美、意蕴美共同支撑的诗美大厦。在此过程中,他继承并超越了以闻一多为代表的早期新月诗人,并以世界诗歌的眼光,广泛吸收西方现代诗歌的创作经验,有效提升了新诗的艺术审美品质,从理论与实践的双重向度延伸了中国新诗的诗美之路。从而促进了中国新诗现代化的进程。
