Objective: To explore the decision-making behavior and impulsivity of internet addiction adolescents. Methods: According to the revised diagnostic criteria of Chinese Internet Addiction Inventory, 23 addicts and 22 control subjects were screened out. According to Rogers’ paradigm of adventurous tasks, the scores of adventurous decision tasks and adventurous tasks were compared between two groups. Results: (1) Adventurous decision-making group had more risk-taking and rewarding choices than control group, and had less time to think when making risk-taking decisions. Adventurous and delayed decision- Risk confidence index differences were significantly greater than the control group, addiction group risk confidence index difference greater than non-risk conditions. Conclusion: Internet addiction adolescents tend to make high-risk and high-reward choices under the circumstance of knowing the probability of rewards and punishments, and adolescents with impulsive and punitive circumstances can easily promote the impulsive behavior of adolescents with internet addiction.
