我国古人收存乐器,大抵用两类不同质地的包装。一种是用“绮”(上古时代出现的一种蚕丝织品)缝制成夹层的袋子收装。古人称这用“绮”制的乐器袋子为“夹囊”(囊即袋)。古代宫廷中的乐器都是用黄颜色的“绮”制成袋子收存,故叫“黄绮夹囊”。《礼乐通考·乐考》:“乐器丝部,琴十,一弦,三弦、五弦、七弦、九弦者各二,皆以黄绮夹囊(?)之。”古代人用这种“夹囊”收存乐器,是为了保护乐器使之不受空气中的灰尘污染和避免撞损。他们习惯于将乐器装入夹囊竖直地悬挂在
