宫高随律高而旋移、调高同宫高而移转,形成为中国传统宫调学之核心理论——“旋宫转调”。但辞书《中国音乐词典》却把“旋宫转调”辞条误释之为“旋宫,指调高的转换;转调,指调式的转换”。①这种把统一完整概念,剥离原意,又分割为“调高”和“调式”两层内涵的“创新”解释,实与中国传统宫调学之演化轨迹大相径庭。今援引清人葛铭对“旋宫转调说”命题的“五宫之旋”求解和对“十二律旋宫”的“纲·目”结构索考,以明“旋宫转调”之本体内涵和整体构架。
