Reviewing the development of life insurance personal marketing system, it can be said that life insurance marketers have made a great contribution. Every insurance company in mainland China generally adopts the personal marketing system after 1996, and the life insurance business has made rapid progress. In 1997, the life premium income in mainland China reached more than 60 billion yuan, surpassing the premium for property and casualty insurance which has been in the dominant position for the first time. At present, personal marketing business has reached 80% of premium income of all life insurance business.
