小学英语的大班教学在我国农村广泛存在,而较多研究显示小班教学更适合语言类课程。那么班型大小是否是英语教学质量提升的关键呢?笔者通过实际走访村小学得出:班型对学生成绩的影响不是最主要的,反而教师的作用更大。本文根据效益优先原则和能否更好执行英语新课程标准两方面,分析大班教学在当地实施的可行性以及优势所在,得出有效教学才是英语教学的核心。
Large class teaching of primary English is widespread in rural areas in our country, while more studies show that small class teaching is more suitable for language courses. So class size is the key to improving the quality of English teaching? The author through the actual visit to the village primary school drawn: the impact of class on student performance is not the most important, but the role of teachers more. Based on the principle of benefit priority and the ability to implement the new English curriculum standard better, this paper analyzes the feasibility and advantage of the implementation of the teaching in the local area, and concludes that effective teaching is the core of English teaching.
