自我效能感与口语学习策略是影响大学生英语口语学习的重要情感与认知因素。本研究对武汉工业学院2010级非英语专业的大学生的自我效能感与口语学习策略做了一个全面的调查并对学生的期末口语成绩做了相应的统计,发现自我效能感与口语学习策略及口语成绩呈正相关关系,但学习策略与口语成绩在不同的专业呈现不同的相关关系。研究结果表明,学生的自我效能感越强,越能够有效使用英语口语学习策略,但并非策略的使用频率越高,学习成绩就越好。这说明教师在口语策略培训的同时,要结合学生的情感与认知差异有针对性地培训才能进一步提高学生的口语表达水平。本研究结果对学生如何有效使用学习策略以及教师如何提高学生的自我效能感,授予合适的口语学习策略,提高他们的英语口语水平有一定指导意义。
Self-efficacy and oral learning strategies are important emotional and cognitive factors affecting college students oral English learning. This study made a comprehensive survey on the self-efficacy and oral learning strategies of 2010 non-English majors in Wuhan Polytechnic University and made corresponding statistics on the students’ oral performance at the end of the period. They found that self-efficacy and oral learning strategies and spoken language The results showed a positive correlation, but learning strategies and oral scores showed different correlations in different majors. The results show that the stronger self-efficacy students are, the more they can effectively use Oral English learning strategies. But not the higher frequency of strategies, the better academic performance. This shows that teachers in oral strategy training at the same time, combined with the students ’emotional and cognitive differences in targeted training to further improve the students’ oral expression level. The results of this study have some guiding significance on how to effectively use learning strategies and how teachers can improve students’ self-efficacy, give appropriate oral learning strategies and improve their oral English.
