三月二十日深夜十一点钟,我们乘坐的国泰公司“747”大型客机离开香港启德机场,向大海飞去。从窗口向外望去,夜空一片漆黑,只有天上的点点繁星和越来越远去的香港的万家灯火,在为我们送行。一个夜间,飞机都在海洋上空飞行,什么也看不见。黎明时刻,透过薄薄的云层,我望见了大洋洲的土地。啊!澳大利亚,那广阔的一片红褐色的山岭,过了一会儿,是暗黄色的沙漠无边无沿,偶尔可以看见一片片森林,和曲折宛转的河流。到九点多钟,飞机到达滨海城市悉尼上空,这是我们此行的目的地。中国戏剧家代表团一行三人,应国际剧协澳大利亚中心的邀请,来参加一次关于中国戏剧问题的讨论
At eleven o’clock midnight on March 20, the Cathay Pacific “747” passenger plane on our flight left the Kai Tak Airport in Hong Kong and flew to the sea.
