Laser Doppler flowmeter was used to observe the blood flow in the dermis and dorsum of 9 diabetic patients. The results showed that: (1) There was no significant difference between upper extremity skin blood flow and blood flow perfusion in diabetes mellitus group; (2) Only 72.2% of the skin blood flow in lower extremity of diabetic group showed high and low perfusion phase Perfusion, significantly lower than non-diabetic group (100%), and the lower limb blood flow in diabetic group, the duration of low perfusion phase and the two perfusion phase rise and fall time were significantly longer than non-diabetic group. The authors believe this change is due to the compensatory increase in blood flow after diabetic skin microvascular disease occurs.
