In May 1989 and June 1990, two human skull fossils were discovered in Liangzai, a school in Quyuan estuary, Qingqu Town, Yunxian County, Hubei Province. This discovery has aroused widespread concern in academia. In early 1991, “China Cultural Relics Newspaper” listed it as one of the two top ten archaeological discoveries during the “Seventh Five-Year Plan” and in 1990. In 1992, on the basis of academic exchanges, Chinese and American scholars co-authored the paper “The Middle Pleistocene Human Skull Newly Found in Yun County, Hubei Province, China” (Nature 357, No. 6377, June 4, 1992 ), Yun County to further expand the influence. Discovery is important, understanding is not uniform. Research is in progress. Volume 362, Nature, April 8, 1993, contains important findings from Spain. These materials will help ancient anthropological research, but also promote the study of Yun County, it is translated into Chinese, in order to facilitate more reference for Chinese scholars.
