随着大学英语课程教学要求(试行)的推出,大学英语教学的目标是培养学生英语综合英语能力,尤其是听说能力,使其能在未来的学习工作生活中能够用英语进行有效的口头书面交流。然而目前高校口语英语教学中,学生的口语水平提高缓慢,这就需要一定的改进与提高。语言是人类最重要的交际工具,语言教学的终极目标是培养学习者以口头和书面的形式进行交际的能力。但长期以来,我国大学生由于受四六级考试制度的影响,只把英语作为一门应试的科目来学。基于上述原因,本文旨在介绍提高非英语专业学生口语的途径,让学生从根本上认识到学英语最终目的就是灵活运用它,而不是让学生成为“英语哑巴。
With the introduction of college English teaching requirements (for trial implementation), the goal of college English teaching is to develop students’ ability of English comprehensive English, especially their ability of listening and speaking so that they can effectively write oral English in English in the future study and work life communicate with. However, at present, the oral English level of college students is slow to improve, which requires some improvement and improvement. Language is the most important communication tool of human beings. The ultimate goal of language teaching is to cultivate the ability of learners to communicate verbally and in written form. However, for a long time, undergraduates in our country have been influenced by the examination system of CET-4, only English as a test subjects to learn. Based on the above reasons, this article aims to introduce ways to improve non-English majors’ oral English so as to enable students to realize that the ultimate goal of learning English is to use it flexibly instead of making students ”dumb English."
