元代杂剧中的人物,多为类型化人物,这是学术界不争的事实.而过去我们在分析元代杂剧人物形象时,部分学者不愿切入这一实质问题,习惯于用西方典型理论来削足适履,得出牵强附会的结论。其实,我们说元代杂剧人物是类型化人物,并没有贬低元代杂剧艺术性的意思,只是指出其中存在的客观现实。元代杂剧人物类型化塑造方法,正是当时中国戏曲文学在那一发展阶段规律性的反映,代表了那一时代叙事文学最高艺术成就,体现了古典美学对人物形象塑造的指导意义。
Yuan Dynasty novels, mostly typed characters, it is an indisputable fact in academia. In the past, when analyzing the character images of the Yuan Dynasty novels, some scholars did not want to cut into this substantive issue, accustomed to using the western typical theories to cut their own feet and get the conclusion of being far-fetched. In fact, we say that Yuan Dynasty novels are typified figures and do not detract from the artistic meaning of Yuan Dynasty dramas. They only point out the objective reality in which they exist. It is the regular reflection of Chinese opera literature at that stage of development that represents the highest artistic achievement of narrative literature in that era, which reflects the guiding significance of classical aesthetics to the shaping of figure images.
