Social information, networking led to the emergence of a knowledge-based economy. Information technology is the key technology in contemporary high-tech and the technical support of knowledge-based economy. The linguistics that studies the most important information carrier of human society - language - makes an indispensable contribution to the development of information technology and information industry. The development of knowledge economy and information technology has also opened up new and broader research fields and application spaces for language research.
