1994年5月11～13日,中国港口协会在广州召开了三届三次暨四届一次理事会议。126名三届、四届理事、顾问、名誉理事及有关方面的领导和代表出席了会议。 交通部给大会发来了贺电。 经过充分协商讨论、选举产生了有165名理事组成的四届理事会,有62名常务理事组成的四届常务理事会;通过聘任钱永昌同志为名誉理事长;选举李维中同志为理事长、屠德铭同志为第一副理事长、王殿栋等12位同志为副理事长,以及选举产生了秘书长和副秘书长。通过聘任林岑等16位同志为顾问、特约顾问,单怀让等9位同志为名誉理事。协会各专业(工作)组织拟聘任的正副主任人选,也在会上通过。 这次会议是承上启下换届改选的一次重要会议。与会同志经过充分讨论,提议四届理事会应增设一名由港口现职主要领导担任第一副理事长。这就从组织上保证了协会的工作活动能继往开来,连续有效地开展。 新组成的四届理事会中有在职干部128名,占77.5％,而且绝大多数是港口现职领导,这就充分体 From May 11 to May 13, 1994, the China Port Association held the third and the fourth council meetings in Guangzhou. 126 third and fourth directors, consultants, honorary directors and relevant leaders and representatives attended the meeting.
