The latest “Diabetes and Pre-eclampsia Intervention Trial (DAPIT)” study shows that regular examination of Hb A1c in pregnant women with type 1 diabetes has good clinical utility in assessing the risk of pregnancy outcome. DAPIT is a multicenter, randomized, prospective, prospective clinical study that recruited 25 prenatal metabolic centers in Northern Ireland, northwestern England and Scotland. From April 2003 to June 2008, 762 patients with type 1 diabetes , 725 cases were included in the final analysis.
