布尔迪约是法国当代最负盛名的社会学家、人类学家、哲学家。布尔迪约的理论思想复杂而多变,但他始终强调文化特权再生产理论的关键位置。文化特权再生产理论揭示了学校教育不是铲除社会不公平制度的制度,相反,它是以“遗传”方式生产和再生产社会不公平,并使社会不公平正当化与永久化。他这一最富启发性的认识在西方学术界和思想界引发激烈而广泛的争议,并对现代社会学产生了深远的影响。文化特权再生产理论对解读和改良中国教育公平现状具有重要的叁考价值。
Bourdieu is the most prestigious contemporary sociologist, anthropologist and philosopher in France. Bourdieu’s theoretical thought is complex and changeable, but he always emphasizes the key position of reproduction theory of cultural privilege. The theory of reproduction of cultural privilege reveals that school education is not a system of eradicating social injustice. On the contrary, it produces and reproduces social injustice in a “genetic” manner and legitimates and perpetuates social injustice. His most inspiring understanding triggered heated and widespread controversy in the Western academic and intellectual circles and had a profound impact on modern sociology. The theory of reproduction of cultural privilege has important reference values for interpreting and improving the status quo of fairness in education in China.
