With the advent of Y (or La)-Ba-Cu-O ceramic high-temperature superconducting materials, since the second half of 1986, there has been a worldwide explosion of superconductivity. The first is to continue to search for new superconducting materials with a higher zero-resistance transition temperature, and secondly to study the structure of the material and explore its mechanism of high-temperature superconductivity. The third is practical application research. In the previous stage, reports on the progress of research on superconducting materials focused more on the first two aspects and reported little on actual applications. However, the purpose of research on new materials is rooted in application. For this reason, this article introduced three recent reports on the practical application of superconducting materials published by the Japanese Economic Journal “DIAMOND”. It can be seen from this that how the development of superconducting materials, especially high-temperature superconducting materials, has promoted the new industrial revolution. As we move forward, their practical application in certain fields is not in the distant future.
