《故宫周刊》是民国时期文物美术类期刊中影响最大、生命力最长的一种。它在特定的历史时期借重故宫本身的资源优势,起到了堪布史料、宣传文物、普及文化的作用,也最早向国民揭示了博物馆的价值和意义。在田野考古不能广泛开展的年代,《故宫周刊》成为举足轻重的以发表文物资料为主体的文化期刊,在很长一段时间内,对中国书画史和古物研究发挥了积极作用。 “Forbidden City Weekly” is the most influential and vitality longest in cultural and art periodicals in the Republic of China.
