党的十七大报告明确提出:“坚持正确用人导向,按照德才兼备、注重实绩、群众公认原则选拔干部,提高选人用人公信度。”中央政治局委员、中组部部长李源潮在组织工作会议上更是强调:“选人用人责任重于泰山。”在新时期、新形势下,如何坚持以科学发展观为指导,加强干部队伍建设呢?笔者认为,加大培训、培养、选拔、监督和考核机制的创新力度,提高选人用人机制的创新水平,不断优化人才资源配置,按科学发展观要求来选人用人,是组织工作永葆青春活力的保证。
