随着城市化进展的加快和汽车普及率的提高.城市交通拥挤日益加剧.交通事故频频发生.交通环境逐渐恶化。这种交通问题是使人困扰的.波及世界范围的严重问题。解决交通问题的直接办法是提高路网的通行能力.但无论是哪个国家的大城市.可供修建道路的空间有限.建设资金筹措困难。同时.由于交通系统是一个相当复杂的大系统,单独从车辆方面考虑或者单独从道路方面考虑.都很难从根本上解决问题。此外.能源和环境问题的严重性也日益为人们所认识。在这种背景下.从系统的观念出发.把车辆和道路综合起来考虑.运用各种高新技术系统来解决问题的思想就应运而生了.这就是智能交通系统ITS。
With the acceleration of urbanization and the increase of car penetration rate, urban traffic congestion is aggravating day by day, traffic accidents occur frequently, traffic environment is deteriorating. This traffic problem is troubling and affects the serious problems of the world.
