同志们：这次会议开得很好,目的是引导大家进一步研究目前消防工作的现状,改进消防工作的措施、体制,加强对消防工作领导,以便更好地适应今后一段时期消防工作的需要.我是于今年郑培民同志管农业以后接管消防工作的.年初召开了全省消防工作会议,接着又开了消防协会会议,对消防协会进行了改选.年中,又根据有关领导同志工作变动情况,及时调整和充实了省防火安全委员会,利用这个调整的机会,我们又对消防工作进行了研究.另外,零陵江华县水口镇特大火灾事故发生后,我们又组织力量在电视、报纸、电台上作了广泛的宣传.现在,冬季到了,又在益阳召开了冬季防火暨现场经验交流会议.一年之内开展这么多活动,在过去是少有的,应该说做了大量的工作.可是,我们今年的几个火灾指数很不理想,这个问题必须引起我们高度重视,认真地加以研究,加以解决.
