老年慢性病,以慢性支气管炎及哮喘、高血压、冠心病、便秘等为常见。不同疾病,其调养方针也不尽相同。肺结核、慢性支气管炎、哮喘:宜食富含蛋白质的食物,如牛奶、鱼类、瘦肉及豆制品,同时还应摄取定量的钙、铁和多种维生素,适量服些蜂蜜和蔗糖。肺炎病人宜掌握下述饮食原则:少吃多餐勿过饱,细嚼慢咽要吃好;饮食温热勿贪凉,牛奶稀粥为最妙,油腻、咸苦不宜进,清淡食品为最好。
