Shi Yu Tong was considered as the representative of the new youth on the ground because he wrote “non-filial” in the May Fourth Movement. Apart from the fact that the new teacher in Hangzhou First Normal turned him into a radical, Shannon, who was regarded as a conservative but actually new one, played an important role in turning Shi and Shi Yu. In addition, the thought of Shi Yu-tsu, a single-entry disciple deeply influenced by Neo-Confucianism, has not yet reached a new trend in the future. The article entitled “Non-Filial Piety” is more about using his new ideas and old ethics to vent his personal suffering. At that time, Shih Tso was trapped in adolescence “self-lost ”, and “May Fourth ” new culture more exacerbated his negation of the former self. It is in the dint of public opinion such as Chen Duxiu and others that Shi’s “non-filial piety” has become an important event of the May Fourth Movement in Hangzhou.
