More than 80 experts and scholars from all over the country attended the conference. At the meeting, Zhao Jie, deputy secretary general of China Anthropology and Ethnology Research Association and vice chancellor of Northern University for Nationalities, read out the approval documents of the Research Council about agreeing to establish a professional committee for establishing ethnic relations; the director of the Preparatory Committee for the Ethnic Relations Commission, Professor introduced
