A doctor, in the war in order to save the sick and wounded a few days and nights fighting nervously, finally arranged for him to sleep. Suddenly, a group of wounded and sick people were brought in from the front and need to wake up the doctor immediately. However, it is hard to wake him up whether people push him by hand or spray water on his face. At this moment, a hygienist shouted gently at the doctor’s pillow: “The doctor, the wounded, wake up soon.” The doctor immediately woke up and went to rescue the wounded and sick. What is the rationale? It turned out that during sleep, people spread the inhibition throughout the cerebral cortex, but some of them are unchecked and excited parts called “points of caution.” Through this watchpoint, the sleeping person can keep in touch with the outside.
