在实际工程中經常会遇到鋼筋混凝土板式結构承受集中荷载或集中反力的情况。如承受局部荷載的板,无梁楼盖柱帽,柱下单独基础等。实驗指出在集中荷載作用下,这类结构在荷载作用处的混凝土有可能被压穿,遭受通常所称的冲切破坏。这种破坏是突然发生的,具有脆性破坏的性質,对結构的安全有很大威脅,因此必需建立有充分科学依据的計算方法。但現行的鋼筋混凝土結构設計规范中却未給予任何指示,設計人員在工作中无正式的根据以资遵循。因而需要在这次修訂规范时对冲切計算加以明確。
