母语,《辞海》里的解释是:母语,指儿童习得的第一语言,多为本民族或本国语言①。由此可以看出,母语教育是为了儿童更好地学习第一语言。语言是一个民族乃至一个国家的精神家园,文化通过语言得以传播,母语则是一个国家或者民族的精髓,是民族生命的一部分。可近年来,我国的母语教育存在着诸多问题。本文将从德国的母语教育课程设置、课本编订、教学方法等几个方面与我国母语教育进行比较。旨在吸取德国的成功教育经验来指引我国母语教育前进的方向。
