中非穆格莱德盆地位于一系列大型走滑拉分盆地的东部,是一个具有勘探潜力的含油气裂谷盆地,呈现近南北走向,穆格莱德盆地是苏丹境内北西-南东向裂谷盆地群中最大的裂谷盆地,面积27×104km2,穆格莱德盆地中的勘探活动开始于20世纪70年代,研究认为盆地内隆起和中东部的部分断裂带为穆格莱德盆地内油气运聚提供了聚集场所和有效通道,明确了盆地内油气运移的主力方向,其主要烃源岩是下白垩统的阿布加布拉组的三角洲砂体其主要储集层实本蒂组的河道砂岩,主要盖层为上白垩统达尔富尔群的砂岩。在该区域正确识别油气分布和石油地质特征具有重要的指导意义同并且也为中非穆格莱德盆地区域储层评价研究提供了参考也为油气勘探提供良好的借鉴。
Located in the eastern part of a series of large-scale strike-slip subbasins, the Middle East and Africa are an oil and gas rift basin with exploration potential, showing a near-north-south trend. The Muglad Basin is a northwestern-southern division of the Sudan The largest rift basin in the valley basin has an area of 27 × 104 km 2. Exploration activities in the Muglad Basin began in the 1970s. It is believed that the uplift in the basin and part of the central-eastern fault zone are within the Muglad Basin Hydrocarbon migration and accumulation provide a gathering place and an effective channel to clarify the main direction of hydrocarbon migration in the basin. The main hydrocarbon source rocks are the main reservoirs of the Lower Cretaceous Abuja Bule delta reservoir, Of the channel sandstone, the main cover for the Upper Cretaceous Darfur sandstone. The correct identification of oil and gas distribution and petroleum geology in this area is of great guiding significance. It also provides a reference for regional reservoir evaluation research in the Mughleid Basin of Central Africa and also provides a good reference for oil and gas exploration.
