根据卫生部全国人口死因抽样调查的设计，对其中广西１０个样本县１９９０～１９９２年的人口进行全死因调查。然后对调查结果中６５岁以上老年人意外死亡进行分析。结果发现本组老年人意外死亡１５５１例外，死亡率为２０５．６４／１０万，在该年龄段人口全死因中排第６位。前３位意外死因分别是自杀（２５．０８％）、跌落（２２．４０％）和车祸；三者共占意外死亡的５７．９％。在各个意外死亡原因中，男性老年人的意外死亡率均高于女性，性别比为１．７９：１。提示老年人的意外死亡问题值得重视
According to the design of the Ministry of Health’s national population death cause sample survey, a total cause of death survey was conducted among the population of the 10 sample counties in Guangxi from 1990 to 1992. Then analyze the accidental death of the elderly over the age of 65 in the survey results. It was found that the elderly had 1 551 accidental deaths, the mortality rate was 205.64 per 100 000, and ranked 6th among all deaths in this age group. The top three accidental causes of death were suicide (25.08%), drop (22.40%) and auto accidents; the three accounted for 57.9% of the total accidental deaths. Among the accidental causes of death, the accidental mortality rate of male senior citizens was higher than that of females, with a sex ratio of 1.79:1.
