In early 2004, a group of left-wing politicians from the Labor Party of the United Kingdom conducted a field visit to EXL Services. This is an Indian outsourcing company based in Delhi. Vikram Talwar, the charismatic boss of the service company, must have been given the magic of returning politicians who unannounced the unions’ opposition to outsourcing their work to poor countries who created for EXL workers Facilities praise. These facilities include a medical room, a gymnasium and a cozy staff canteen. A politician called Laura Moffat told the Financial Times reporter: “The benefits that EXL offers to workers are what we British dream of.”
