Handspring entered into a cooperation agreement with Biztech and Panex Hong Kong Co., Ltd. to sell Handspring’s products and selected other Springboard modules in mainland China by its distributors and retail stores. Domestic consumers will see Handspring’s extended Visor handhelds later this spring, with a retail price of 3,780 yuan. The Visor Pocket PC uses Palm’s Palm OS and is compatible with thousands of current applications. This product also offers extended capabilities that are comparable to Pocket PCs.
