Objective To understand the status of renal function in HCV-infected patients and provide reference for clinical treatment and improving the quality of life in HCV-infected patients. Methods The clinical data of 141 patients with HCV infection from January 2008 to December 2010 were analyzed. Results In this group of patients, 34.0% (48/141) of HCV patients had renal damage, and the probability of renal damage was between men and women. There was no significant difference among all age groups (P> 0.05). Conclusion The kidneys of HCV-infected people are easily damaged. In clinical practice, the renal function of HCV-infected persons should be monitored to prevent the occurrence of severe kidney diseases such as renal failure and uremia.
