卫天霖是中国第一代油画家、美术教育家,其作品以色造型,色彩斑斓,具有东方气质和中国风格。本文试图从家庭启蒙教育、中国民间文化、西方宗教艺术三方面来探索早期生活对卫天霖艺术的影响。一、家庭启蒙教育的熏陶1.书法启蒙教育卫天霖的父亲卫璋(1866一1932),字达臣,山西汾阳县东阳城村人,举人出身,中国同盟会会员。民国元年(1912年),被任为汾阳县首任知县,袁世凯上任临时大总统后,他辞官归故里教书育人,被聘为基督教“神道学校”国文教师,任教四年。县立三皇庙小学数年,后当过汾阳模范高等小学校长、河汾中学文史教师。卫璋科举出身,其书法受包世臣、康有为的影响,专攻北碑,卫天霖的舅舅秦龙光
Wei Tianlin is China’s first generation of oil painters, art educators, his works in color modeling, colorful, with oriental temperament and Chinese style. This article attempts to explore the influence of early life on Wei Tianlin’s art from three aspects: family enlightenment education, Chinese folk culture and western religious art.
