新中国成立40年来,一贯重视发展同其他第三世界国家的经济贸易关系,近10年来发展尤快,展望未来,前景也是令人乐观的。 1978年:双方贸易额34亿美元 从新中国成立到70年代末,中国同第三世界国家的经贸关系经历了一个逐步发展的过程。50年代和60年代,由于某些大国先后对中国采取封锁或压制政策;中国和多数第三世界国家都建国不久,不少国家还未与我建交;加上中国10年“文革”的动乱;因此在这一时期里,中国是在比较困难的条件下,与各发展中国家建立经贸关系的。尽管如此,经贸关系还是得到了一定发展。在贸易方面,到1978年,中国与其他发展中国家的进出口贸易额已达34.09亿美元。在亚洲,与巴基斯坦、斯里兰卡、缅甸、马来西亚、新加坡等五个重要贸易对象国的贸易额1958年共计还只有1.77亿美元,1978年增至8.57亿美元。
Since its founding 40 years ago, New China has always attached importance to developing its economic and trade relations with other Third World countries. The development of the People’s Republic of China in the past decade has been particularly rapid. Looking ahead, the outlook is optimistic. 1978: US $ 3.4 Billion U.S.EV The economic and trade relations between China and the Third World countries underwent a gradual development from the founding of New China to the end of the 1970s. In the 1950s and 1960s, some major powers adopted the policy of blockade or repression on China. Soon after the founding of the People’s Republic of China and most Third World countries, many countries have not established diplomatic relations with me. Coupled with the unrest in China’s 10-year “Cultural Revolution” Therefore, during this period, China established economic and trade relations with various developing countries under more difficult conditions. In spite of this, the economic and trade relations have still got some development. In trade, by 1978, the volume of China’s import and export trade with other developing countries reached 3.409 billion U.S. dollars. In Asia, trade with Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Malaysia and Singapore totaled only 177 million U.S. dollars in 1958, up from 857 million U.S. dollars in 1978.
